WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT GUN CONTROL?
Nothing directly. However, the Bible does say:
Then Jesus asked them, "When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?" "Nothing," they answered. He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. - Luke 22: 35-36 NIV

WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT ASSAULT RIFLES?
Nothing directly. However, the Bible does say:
And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
- Luke 22: 38 KJV

Two (2) swords was about all a person could practically carry in Biblical times and still be mobile and productive.
And isn't an assault rifle and an extra handgun about what a typical soldier carries today to be both productive and mobile?

WHAT DID JESUS REALLY SAY ABOUT DYING BY THE SWORD?
Well, first, let's take a look at the whole passage and understand that the phrases
(i) "taking up the sword"
or (ii) "drawing swords"

is not the same as

(a) "owning a sword",
(b) "putting your sword back in its place"
or
(c) "carrying a sword in its scabbard".

In other words, to actually use a sword is not the same as keeping a sword by your side.

47 While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: "The one I kiss is the man; arrest him." 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, "Greetings, Rabbi!" and kissed him. 50 Jesus replied, "Do what you came for, friend." Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus' companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. 52 "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?" 55 In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. 56 But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled." Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. - Matthew 26: 47-56 NIV

A FEW POINTS
1 - "Keeping a sword at your side" is NOT the same as "drawing a sword".

2 - Learning how to properly and safely use a sword (or a gun) is NOT the same as "drawing a sword" or "pointing a gun at someone".

3 - Letting the enemy know there are consequences to their actions is not the same as taking lethal action against your enemies.

IF YOU TOOK AWAY ALL THE GUNS...
If you took away all the guns, would domestic violence from too much alcohol go away?

If you took away all the guns, would DWI from too much alcohol go away?

If you took away all the guns, would date rape from too much alcohol go away?

If you took away all the guns, would the fights on Bourbon Street with other weapons like knives and broken beer bottles from too much alcohol go away?

Lastly, if you took away all the guns, would the Addictions go away?
